Our second project, started in July 2008, was our banner. Everyone who wanted to take part was given two pieces of fabric, the idea being to embroider their Christian name initial on one - hence the name "Illuminations" - and just decorate the other using any technique of their choosing. Most of them have now been handed in and the banner was completed in April 2009. Note that there are some spaces for new members to add their contribution on the fifth segment.
