Our first Club Project - "Pass It On" - was started in January 2008 and was a wall hanging featuring butterflies. Sixteen pieces of calico were prepared by affixing a variety of fabric butterfly shapes in an assortment of colours and sixteen members started embellishing the butterflies, passing their contribution to their neighbour after about fifteen minutes so  that the finished hanging would truly be a joint effort. When they were all finished, Tricia put them together to form a quilt. The project was completed in April 2008.
